The Barn Kitchen Garden
What we did
Our brief was to transform the space into an area were the client could grow fruit, herbs and vegetables. We designed the garden around the theme of a traditional English kitchen garden with a Mediterranean twist. We divided the garden into separate areas of usage with a sweeping patio for al fresco dining and raised beds for planting, all circling around an old olive tree. We planted spangled fruit trees along the walls to give full usage of the space and highlighted these with spotlights creating a dramatic backdrop at night.

We could see the potential the garden had but were unsure what design we wanted. Hans has designed a garden that is not only very practical but also looks amazing all year round. We now have our very own secret garden that we can enjoy for years to come.
